Loving Father and Grandfather

Hugh M. McKenna Sr., 84, Husband of the late Patricia (Belleville) McKenna, died Saturday Febuary, 12, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Lowell, MA on March 4, 1937, he was a son of the late Stephen and Gertrude (Beaubien) McKenna and was a graduate of the Lowell Trade School.

For over thirty years Hugh worked for the City of Lowell in the Water Department as a Maintenance Foreman.

Mr. McKenna was a former Resident of Lowell now residing in Hudson, NH. He was a Life Member of the East End Club in Lowell.

He is survived by a Daughter, Kelly E. Foley and her Husband (Keith) of Dracut, Two sons, Hugh M. McKenna Jr. and his wife (Denise) of Pelham, NH; Daniel J. McKenna of Hampton, NH; His Daughter-in-law Judith McKenna of The Villages in Florida, His Grandchildren, Christopher McKenna and his companion, Alicia Dockham, Katelyn McKenna; Courtney and her Husband (Andy) Holub; Ryan McKenna; Ariel McKenna, Slade Sousa; Dillan, Shealyn and Colin Foley; two Great Grandsons, Owen McKenna and George Dockham.

Mr. McKenna was the Father of the late Michael A. McKenna and was predeceased by his three brothers and five sisters.
