Jeanne Muldoon Obituary

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend;

Jeanne M. (Glispin) Muldoon of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Friday evening July 4, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was the wife of the late Robert M. Muldoon who passed away in 1988.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 29, 1933, the daughter of the late George A. and the late Jeanne M. (Langlois) Glispin, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1952.

A devoted wife and mother, Jeanne raised her children, was ever present in each of her grandchildren's lives, and always put her family first.

A loyal and passionate fan of Elvis Presley, Jeanne visited Graceland many times in her life. She always looked forward to her next adventure. Trips to Germany and Italy were among her highlights. While at the Vatican, she had an audience with and was blessed by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI.

Jeanne was an avid Red Sox fan. Despite many double headers and late nights, she never missed a game. Betting with Marguerite on if they would win or lose became her favorite routine.

However, her greatest joy was when she was with her family, especially her 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by five children David M. Muldoon and his wife Pamela of Londonderry, NH, Stephen J. Muldoon and his wife Marguerite of Barrington, RI, Jeanne M. Durkin with whom she resided ;Ruth A. Webber and her husband Michael of Lowell, Kelly F. Hartz of Pelham, NH, and Joe Leboeuf whom she considered and loved like a son, and his wife Karen of Derry N.H.; 13 grandchildren Glenna and her husband Tyler, Natalie and her husband Antonio, Marc and his wife Nicole, Sean, Alexander, Adam and his wife Ashley, Anna, Jennifer, Nicole, Michael, Matthew, Sarah and Ryan; 11 great grandchildren; a sister Theresa H. Porder of Nashua, NH, and two nieces.

She was also the mother of the late William B. Muldoon, who died when he was an infant, grandmother of the late infant Rose J. Muldoon and Brendan D. Muldoon, grandmother-in-law of the late Patrick C. Sullivan and sister of the late George J. Glispin, Jr.

The family would like to extend eternal gratitude to LGH D4 medical staff for their kindness and support during our most difficult time.
