Karen M. Tsaitsios

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend;

Karen M. (Guziejka) (Shaffer) Tsaitsios, 53, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday January 13, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.

She was the loving wife of Michael Tsaitsios, who survives her.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, July 24, 1968, the daughter of Chester J. Guziejka and the late Susan A. (Flynn) Guziejka, she attended St. Margaret Grammar School and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1986.

During her professional career, Karen worked at Millipore Corporation and later opened her own business Small World Day Care.

Karen was most happy when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her husband and father, Karen is survived by two sons Steven M. Schaffer of Lowell and Matthew B. Schaffer of Dracut; two grandchildren Damian Schaffer and Aria Schaffer of Lowell; a sister Debra M. Guziejka of Lowell; a brother Todd A. Guziejka and his wife Dawn of Hudson, NH; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Thursday morning at the ODONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 9 to 11 A.M. followed by her Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11 oclock. (All City and state required social distancing procedures will be observed including the wearing of masks upon entrance into the Funeral Home) Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell.
