Katrina Rouses

Beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend;

Katrina Rouses, 39, of Sarasota, Florida, but formerly of North Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 25, 2025, at the Tidewell Hospice House at Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 29, 1985, the loving daughter of both Deborah (Gervais) Rouses of Punta Gorda, FL and George Rouses of Lowell, MA, she was a graduate of Nashoba Technical High School.

Katrina was a popular Lowell bartender at Cappy’s Copper Kettle and in 2016 she found her home in Sarasota Florida, where her dynamic spirit became a cherished part of the community. Whether by mixing drinks behind the bar or dancing among friends, she brought an irresistible spark to every moment.

Karaoke singing, laughing with friends and her two rescue dogs were her greatest joys. She moved through life like a melody, bold, unforgettable and full of soul. Though her journey ended way too soon, the echoes of her song and the warmth of her laughter linger on.

Besides her parents, Katrina is survived by her sister Elena (Rouses) Garozza and her husband Andrew of Woburn; her grandmother Constance Mullen of Port Charlotte, FL; her aunts Sally Foley and her husband Greg of Palo Alto, CA , Linda Gervais of Punta Gorda, FL and Kathy Gervais of Brookline, NH; her uncle Stephen Gervais of Dracut, MA; and her friend Patrick “PJ” Webb of Sarasota, FL.

She was the granddaughter of the late Stamatina (Panagiotakos) Rouses and Christos G. Rouses and the late Norman Gervais.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday December 9, 2025, at the HELLENIC ORTHODOX CHRURH OF THE HOLY TRINITY, 62 Lewis ST. in Lowell at 10:00 o’clock.
