Mary E. "Mary Beth" Larocque 

Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and godmother; 

Mary E. “Mary Beth” Larocque, 64, of Lowell, Massachusetts passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Lowell, MA, March 17, 1962, the daughter of the late John J. Sr. and the late Judith A. (Donnelly) Larocque, she attended St. Patrick Grammar School and graduated from Keith Hall in the class of 1980. 

After a long career in the corporate education field, Mary Beth recently worked as a Claims Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Family Medical Leave. 

A woman of faith, Mary Beth was a communicant of St. Patrick Church and was a longtime member and former chair of the Lowell Irish Cultural Committee (nka Lowell Irish). 

She is survived by two brothers, John J. Larocque and his wife Kathleen of Lowell, MA, and David W. Larocque of Lowell, MA; a sister-in-law, Catherine “Katie” Larocque of Lowell, MA; her nieces and nephews; Joseph and his wife Deanna, Liz, Victoria and her fiancé Tim, Dan and his girlfriend Molly, Christine and her fiancé Pat, Jackie and James Larocque;  two grandnephews Danny and Miles; and several godchildren.

She was the sister of the late Daniel R. Larocque and Kevin P. Larocque. 

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning, May 28, 2026, at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 9 to 10:30 A.M. Her Funeral Mass will follow at SAINT PATRICK CHURCH at 11 o’clock. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. Those wishing may make contributions in Mary Beth’s memory to the Lowell Irish, Inc., P.O.
