Maura Grace Pender, 59, died January 1, 2026, in Haverhill, Massachusetts, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lowell on July 27, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Mary Carole Pender and received her education in the Lowell Public Schools.
Prior to her illness, Maura worked at Cisco Systems in Chelmsford as an assembler. Maura was a communicant of St Margaret of Scotland Church in Lowell.
She is survived by three sons, Cody Dupuis, Robert Dupuis, and Jon Dupuis; a sister, Kathleen Pender-Phaneuf of Lowell, MA; two brothers, Michael Pender and his wife Donna of Lowell, MA, and Brian Pender of Nashua, NH; two nieces, Mary-Kathleen Phaneuf and Bethany Pender; three nephews, Shaughn Pender, Kevin Pender and Matthew Phaneuf; several cousins, and a good friend, Wayne Sevigny, Sr. of Lowell.
She was the mother of the late Amanda Dupuis and sister-in-law of the late Robert Phaneuf, Jr.
Friends may gather for her Memorial Funeral Mass on January 15, 2026, at St. Margaret of Scotland Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
