Patricia M. McCoy

Beloved sister, aunt, and friend;

Patricia M. “Pat” McCoy, 85, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by loving family.

Born in Lowell, MA, August 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and the late Marion E. (Muldoon) McCoy, she attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School in the class of 1957.

After high school, Pat enrolled at Northeastern University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Education. She furthered her education at Salem State University, earning a master’s degree in School Administration.  

Among her several interests, Pat had a love of gardening and enjoyed her flowers.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary Bator and her husband Ronald of Chelmsford, MA, and Ruth Fauvel and her husband Paul of Dracut, MA; two brothers, Charlie E. McCoy and his wife Shelagh of Haverhill, MA, and Timothy P. McCoy and his wife Mary Lou of Buford, GA; nine nieces and nephews, Brian McCoy, Amy McCoy, Susan McCoy, Ryan McCoy, Melissa Bator, Stefanie Bator, Caine McCoy, Krissy Taft, and Felecia Loucraft; many great nieces and great nephews; and a dear friend, Lynne Chase of Melrose, MA.

She was the sister of the late Thomas F. McCoy, Jr. and Donald R. McCoy, and the aunt of the late Jason McCoy and Lisa McCoy.

Pat would like to thank her neighbors for many years of support and friendship.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Committal Service to be celebrated on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the ST. PATRICK CEMETERY CHAPEL in LOWELL at 11:30 A.M.
