Peter Zohdi, 72, of Rye New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 3, 2025, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.

Peter was born in Tehran, Iran, December 1, 1952. He was the son of the late Nasrollah and the late Fatima (Kaviani) Zohdi and predeceased by his two brothers Hamid and Morteza Zohdi.

He emigrated to England in 1979 to pursue a dual degree in math and engineering after which he moved to the United States to pursue a career in civil engineering.

Peter was a successful civil engineer and real estate developer in the southern New Hampshire area, and owner and operator of Edward N. Herbert Associates, Inc. in Windham, NH.

He was known best for his generosity and contribution to the local community of southern New Hampshire, and the seacoast of New Hampshire.

He  is survived by his wife, Cara Zohdi and daughter Nicole Zohdi of Rye, NH; and his beloved mother-in-law Anne C. Chiungos of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
