Robert Witts

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Witts, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who passed away on June 9th after a long journey with early onset Alzheimer’s.

Rob was a proud honors graduate of Central Catholic High School class of 1979 who then went on to further his education at Northeastern University. He built a meaningful career in management in the high-tech field, until illness forced his retirement from Nokia in Westford.

Rob made those around him feel loved and valued, but above all else, Rob was a family man. His wife, Michele E. (Hunt) Witts, of 43 years, was his love, constant partner and greatest support throughout life’s joys and challenges. He was a proud and deeply loving father to Meghan and Nevin, who were the center of his world.  Rob shared a special bond with each of them. Meghan was always his “baby girl” and Nevin kept life “lively” and full of laughter. He was a constant presence in their lives.

Nevin carries forward many of his father’s values and gentile heart, while Meghan and Rob share a close connection of love for life’s finer, “bougie” touches that brought them lots of teasing and laughter.

He also warmly embraced Meghan’s husband, Adam Romagnoli, and Nevin’s wife Angela Witts...loving them as his own children. They were an important part of his family and brought him great happiness.

He leaves behind his three beautiful grandsons, Robbie Romagnoli, Parker and Elliot Witts, who filled his heart with love. His brothers, Paul Witts, and wife, Karen, John Witts, Uncle Thomas Witts and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Brothers and sisters in law Frank and Doreen Vieira, Deacon John Hunt and Lisa Motard.

He was born to Robert T. and Mary Lou (Dignan) Witts and was the brother of Tom Witts who predeceased him.

Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Visitation on June 19, 2026, at ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, 115 Wheeler Rd. in DRACUT from 9:15 to 10 AM. His Memorial Funeral Mass will follow promptly in the church at 10 AM. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
