Constance A. (Coury) Abodeely

Beloved Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt;



Constance A. (Coury) Abodeely, 88, of Windham, New Hampshire, but formerly of Andover, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Grace House in Windham, NH.

She was the loving wife of the late George Abodeely who passed away in 2015.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on October 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Camille and the late Ann (Wihby) Coury, she attended St. Patrick Grammar School and graduated from St. Patrick Girl’s High School.

Constance was a longtime member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, and served on many committees as well as volunteering on many fundraising functions.

Connie had many interests; she was an avid reader and card player, as well as a talented cook.  Her specialties included Middle Eastern foods, and her pies and desserts. Family was always number one for Constance and she loved to watch movies, go shopping, and go out for lunch with her daughters and granddaughters. She also had a special bond and love for dogs.

She is survived by two daughters Cynthia G. Desmond and her husband John of Andover, MA, and Sandra “Sam” L. Cormier and her husband Scott of Windham, NH; two sons Michael G. Abodeely and his wife Lori of Windham, NH, and Stephen R. Abodeely and his wife Robin of Nashua, NH; six grandchildren John Desmond and his wife Julie, Jeff Desmond and his wife Renee, Melinda Abodeely, Stephen Abodeely, Chelsea Cormier, and Brooke (Cormier) Gromyko and her husband Cameron; six great-grandchildren Jack, Alex, Owen, Conor, and Evelyn Desmond and Logan Gromyko; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL on Sunday September 25, 2022 from 4 to 7 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be celebrated on Monday September 26, 2022, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell at 11:00 o'clock.
