Diedra (Mangiavas) Wolfe

Beloved sister, niece, cousin, and friend

Diedra (Mangiavas) Wolfe passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4th at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Born and raised in the Highlands section of Lowell, MA, Diedra was the daughter of the late George and Xanthe "Pat" (Patsourakos) Mangiavas. She was a longtime member of the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell.

Diedra graduated from Lowell High School, class of 1966, then later graduated from Boston State College with a Bachelor’s degree in History.

She was a substitute teacher for several years in the Lowell School system.  Later she was employed at Aetna Life Insurance Company in Chelmsford, MA and later in Hartford, CT as a Claims Adjuster.

She is survived by her Sister Pamela Mangiavas and her Brother Richard Mangiavas and his wife Sinceree.

She was pre-deceased by her Husband Attorney Herbert S. Wolfe.

At her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 9th at 10:00am at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, 62 Lewis St. in Lowell, MA.  Internment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.     My deepest sympathies to you, Pamela and Richard. Deidre and I were Greek School friends and remained friends through the years. I cannot believe she has left us. Such a beautiful girl. May she always be remembered as such.
