  • Bryan Leary  - Retired professor
Ed was a close friend of mine during and after our college years. We double dated friends for a couple of years, and Ed was in my wedding party in 1963. We lost contact later as we both started to raise a family. I’ll always remember Ed as a great guy and it was a privilege to have known him. My sincere condolences to his family.
  • Sean Sullivan UML Class of 198  - UMass Lowell Bookstore Friend
I first met Ed as a student at the Unversity of Lowell in 1982 when shopping for books at the campus bookstore. He asked me to consider serving on the bookstore associate board where I witnessed his passion for helping students. UMass Lowell is a better place because of people like Ed Bolan. Slainte Ed, rest in peace.
