The family of Jennifer A. Johnson announced her death at the age of 74, on June 11, 2021 in Lowell, Mass. A loving mother and grandmother survived by her son Delmar W. Johnson, III, his wife Jamie D. Johnson, grand-daughters Hadley K. Johnson and Maisie G. Johnson. A daughter Amanda L. Johnson. The daughter of the late James S. Grimshaw, and his wife the late Irene W. Grimshaw, a sister of the late Anne C. Sullivan, her husband John L. Sullivan, Jr., Esq., who survives her. A sister Mally Grimshaw, Artist. Nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and extended family.An alumnae of Framingham State College, she earned her Master’s Degree from Rivier College. A former employee of Lowell Elder Services and Internal Revenue.A private family service will be held in Lowell, Mass.Arrangements by O’Donnell Funeral Home. Paul A. Meehan, 80, of Lowell, died Saturday May 29, 2021 after a brief illness.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 7, 1940, the son of the late John F. and the late Mary G. (O’Keefe) Meehan, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1948.

Paul retired from D.J. Reardon where he worked as a delivery assistant for many years.

A big Boston sports fan, he also enjoyed playing boing.

Paul is survived by his sister Rona T. Horton of Lowell; a sister-in-law Donna Meehan of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings Catherine Doyle, Stephen Doyle, Mary Gagnon, Robert Meehan, Arlene Feeney. Carolyn Meehan and James Meehan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Visitation on Wednesday June 9, 2021, at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 11 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. at which time there will be a brief Prayer Service. Beloved aunt,



Pota "Pat" (Kalivas) (McNulty) Bernier, 98, of North Chelmsford, formerly of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late James McNulty and the late Roland K. Bernier.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, November 24, 1922, she was the daughter of Greek immigrants, the late Antonios "Anthony" and the late Stavroula "Stella" (Lazaropoulos) Kalivas. She was raised in Lowell and attended Lowell High School.

Before retirement, Pat was an assembler with the Honeywell Corporation in Lowell. She also worked at Matrix Technology in Hudson, NH, and in her younger days she worked at Hanscom Air Force Base repairing Jeeps.

Pat was a wonderful cook.  She especially enjoyed preparing a variety of Greek foods for her family and friends. However, her real joy in life was spending time with her extended family.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell.

She is survived by her niece Sheila Anderson-Sweeney, who has been like a daughter to her, and Sheila’s husband Laurence E. Sweeney, and their son Stephen M. Sweeney, with whom she has resided for many years; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; two sisters-in-law Maria “Mary” Kalivas of Lowell and Helena "Bunny" Gagne of Worcester, and a brother-in-law David Bernier and his wife Linda of Grafton.

She was predeceased by her sisters Bessie Mentas Nicholson, Georgia Chicres and Helen Anderson, and her brothers George, Theodore and John Kalivas.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Merrimack Valley Hospice for their personal care, compassion and concern for their aunt Pat.

All services were previously held privately for the family with a Funeral Service at the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity followed by burial in the Westlawn Cemetery. Joel B. Donovan, 48, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 after a brief illness.

Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, March 17th, 1973, the son of Mae L. (MacLean) Donovan and the late James E. Donovan, Jr. He received his education in the Lowell school system. Joel was all about family and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile. He also had a passion for cooking and eagerly shared his creations with family.

Besides his mother, Joel is survived by his stepdaughter Summer, the light of his life whom he helped raise from birth; his sister Kendra A. Rivera and her husband Jose; two brothers Michael Donovan and his wife Sharon, James E. Donovan III and his wife Megan, and many nieces and nephews. His involved and loving presence will be missed especially by Nicole, Mikaela, Justin, and Matt. His love will be with us always.
